Help me give my students the chance to use the iPad and Apple pen as I intended. I neglected to add this to my original project which won’t work unless I have the Apple TV!
This project expired on March 20, 2020.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
The students I teach are fun, energetic and full of personality. The sense of community we have at the charter school I work at in the mountains of North Carolina is incredible. Students from all walks of life are accepting of each other’s differences and supportive of one another. They are in a very pivotal stage in 7th grade and sometimes that can be challenging. We embrace those challenges and create an engaging, holistic approach to learning. We teach compassion, kindness, empathy, and acceptance through social-emotional learning classes and how to contribute to the community. It’s fulfilling to connect with these young champions and be a part of their journey.
I created a project that includes an iPad and Apple pen to allow me to walk around the room more instead of standing at the board during a lesson, allow students to showcase their work and thinking strategies without having to stand in front of the class at the whiteboard, and also upload the days work to Google Classroom to help students catch up on missed work when absent. I failed to add the Apple TV which will allow the iPad to be wireless! The protective case will also be amazing to protect the iPad from accidentally being dropped!
