My students are special education transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, first, and second grade students who attend a Title I school. They are eager to learn and explore their world. In support of students with special needs, it is essential that our team provide a structured environment for our student population.
Through the implementation of organization, clearly defined learning stations, and appropriately structured learning areas in the classroom, my students will have access to experiences that will support curriculum instruction.

My Project
Access to updated technology will support my students with learning opportunities that provide engagement, interactive hands on participation, and innovative strategies for successful participation in distance learning. Our district does not provide its teachers with technology.
Access to a large screen will provide access to gauge participation and measure engagement.
Updated technology will also allow for my students to access learning tools in an interactive way using software and extensions where they can manipulate their screens. Using updated technology will also support families that do not have printers to complete an assignment on their screens!
