This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are hardworking kids. They really want to learn and do their best in school. Our school is a Title I school with over ninety percent of students receiving free lunch.
Many of our students come to us without their basic needs met.
It is our job to ensure our students have what they need to be successful. Our school provides a safe, welcoming environment for children. Despite their challenges, our students deserve all the best we can offer.
Please help me provide my classroom with Apple Pencils to use as we write with our iPad. These pencils will be a useful tool for note-taking, sketching, and more. It will also allow my students to practice handwriting within our writing apps.
Students can still experience the feel of a pen instead of a finger.
It will help students make fine, precise clicks that using a finger does not allow as we work on math and reading skills. This pen will also help us keep our iPad in good shape when we touch it with the pen. Thank you for supporting our classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
