I teach third grade in a high-poverty school in Georgia. My students are diverse in academic ability, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, and life experience. They are excited about school and love learning new things. My third graders particularly love science and being able to conduct experiments and learn about the world.
100 percent of students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch.
I want to provide my students with best education possible. We need partners like you to help us get these resources into our classroom.
My Project
3rd grade is hard! I am constantly pushing my students and expecting great things from them. Students are not only learning new concepts, but they have to explain their thinking as well. In order to do this, my students have to hone their writing skills. We spend a lot of time looking at each other’s writing, and we need help!
An Apple TV will help my students to be able to project their writing on the board for the whole class to see.
I want my students to see what their classmates are writing and thinking. Apple TV is the key to give my students the opportunity to critique and help one another improve.
