My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn. Some students in my classroom do not have access to technology due to not having it at home or because their parents will not fill out required district paperwork that will allow them to use/take a computer to and from school. I am asking for a laptop to begin a computer workstation in my classroom to give these students access to technology while at school.
I would like to start with a MacBook as a workstation to allow students to complete their required state testing assessments, work on programs like iReady reading or math, practice typing, completing projects, etc in the classroom and eventually down the line purchase more for additional students that may not have the technology.
