Help me give my students the technology to meet their educational and emotional goals and to be the 21st century learners!

My school is a Title I school where most students come from lower-income, immigrant, and single-parent households. All of my students are language delayed and have special needs. They work hard but it takes them much longer to learn skills that come so easy to other kids due to their speech and language delays and emotional problems.
"Technology can become the “wings” that will allow the educational world to fly farther and faster than ever before—if we will allow it." Jenny ArledgeTeaching kids with disabilities requires a lot of love, patience, and enthusiasm. Sometimes it’s a struggle to keep my speech students motivated. They are fascinated and motivated by technology, so why not use it?
I am so excited you decided to look! As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, my goal is to help my students to communicate effectively and access the curriculum to the best of their abilities. My students come to speech all year long and work very hard to reach their goals. They are struggling learners.
We live in the age of technology and it is truly unfortunate that my children often do not have access to technology that their peers have.
The presence of technology in my room would help to add variations to my lessons, change how kids learn, make it hands-on, and make it fun. We can use iPads to stream videos that tell them about other kids just like them and how those kids overcome obstacles. They can see faraway places and cultures, learn about STEM, use interactive apps to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and track their own progress in achieving their goals. Using iPads as a therapy tool will spark interest in my students and enhance their communication skills. Please consider sponsoring our project and become a partner in learning.
