Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from Paterson, NJ, a low-income district. They are bilingual students and many of them are behind grade level. My students are very eager and love learning, having different experiences where they can learn about the world that surrounds them. Overall, my second graders are friendly and amazing.
My Project
Recently, I was funded with an iPad to work remotely from home with my students. I've been loving the experience of having an iPad to work with now but I do find it hard at time drawing and writing stuff out for my students to see.
With this Apple Pencil, I'll be able to write more easily and work more quickly when I'm live with them on the screen.
I am planning on using these supplies when I get back to the school building as well with the students so that if I want to do an interactive material with them they won't need to touch the screen, they will be able to complete the activity using the pen. Making it easier and fun for them!
