Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I school in a low socioeconomic area, and 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. For some of our kids, these are the only two meals they have in a day.

Although some of my kids face many challenges, they are always eager to learn.

We have some military families in our school as well. Our school is located in a border city, and a few of my students moved here from Mexico and are English language learners. I'm always looking for innovative ways to teach my kids and encourage them to love school and learning.

I'm hoping to get this iPad Pro for my kids to use during small group instruction. I bought an iPad Apple Pen but then I realized it was not compatible with my other iPads. I was planning on using pen during small group to help my kids in math and financial literacy.

The kids would really be engaged while using it and it will save paper because I could use a lot of google lessons along with the iPad.

My kids that come to my small group need more interventions and visual learning and the iPad would help them tremendously.
