Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am lucky to teach one section of AP Language and Composition for juniors this year (who I last had when they were 9th graders). Help me get them novels (nonfiction for before the test, fiction for after their AP test) and practice tests y support their learning needs.
My 11th graders are voracious readers, and I want to be able to provide them with as many print materials as possible.
While we normally focus on articles, they have been asking for nonfiction novels to help supplement their reading. With these novels, they will be in book clubs where they will design their own inquiry units.
