My Project

Imagine a sunny afternoon filled with the aroma of delicious food, the sounds of laughter, and the vibrant energy of students celebrating their hard work and academic achievements. This is the vision behind AP Grill and Chill, a special picnic we're organizing to honor the incredible dedication and success of 187 students in their Advanced Placement (AP) classes and exams.

These students have taken on rigorous coursework, pushed their intellectual boundaries, and demonstrated a commitment to excellence that deserves recognition.

AP Grill and Chill will provide a well-deserved opportunity for them to relax, connect with their peers and teachers, and bask in the glow of their accomplishments. It's a chance to foster a sense of community and celebrate the bright futures they are building.

However, to make this celebratory event a reality, we need your support. Your generous contribution will help us cover the costs of:

Fun Activities and Games: Creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.

Decorations and Supplies: Providing a comfortable and festive setting.

Small Tokens of Recognition: Acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

By supporting AP Grill and Chill, you are directly investing in the well-being and future success of these accomplished students. This includes a number of students with disabilities who academically challenge themselves by taking on this heavy coursework. As a very racially diverse school, you would also be supporting our initiative of ensuring that our students who are historically underrepresented in higher education, are exposed to college level classes as early as 10th grade. You are sending a powerful message that their hard work is valued and their achievements are worth celebrating.
