This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Advanced Placement students who are extremely hard-working and absolutely love science. They are curious about the impact of science on day to day life and using the concepts we have learned in the classroom to understand the impact we have on our environment.

When truly inspired by something, they tenaciously pursue knowledge related to it.

I have students who are very much natural born leaders. They amaze me every day with their enthusiasm for science and love of chemistry.

My Project

The digital AP chemistry test prep will help my students both at home and in school prepare for arguably the most difficult AP exam. They will each have access to practice problems, solutions, and interactive questions. The service also provides the immediate feedback my students need (at 2 am) to learn from their mistakes. It will also allow me to more easily track their progress and suggest additional practice or help for topics where they are struggling. A good score on this exam can help my students get into better schools and ultimately can save them thousands of dollars in college tuition.
