My Students

I teach in a very small, poor, rural high school in the mountains of North Carolina.

I teach Advanced Placement Chemistry which is a college level class. The Barron's AP Chemistry books that I am requesting are a good study tool for my students. They include practice tests with answers and explanations. The students usually do not have the funds to buy these books, but I think they really are a good support for the test in May.

My Project

The books that I am requesting will be used as homework or extra study practice during the semester that they take the A.P. Chemistry class. I have had students make a higher grade on the exam because of the information and tests provided in these books so they are an invaluable tool. The only study guide books that I have currently are outdated since the test itself has gone through an update about a year ago.

Please help my students improve their scores on this national test.

It may mean that they can get college credit while still in high school. This will make their college experience a bit cheaper and give them a head start in some other college classes.
