Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are composed of both seventh and eighth-grade girls. My students come from different backgrounds and athletic abilities. My students are always eager to be active.

I love my students because they are always ready to play and try out new games.

My students are always looking forward to coming to PE. I try my best to keep my students active at all times. My students love playing basketball and volleyball. In order to do this, my students need new equipment.

My Project

Tchoukball is a non-invasive game that allows students of all abilities to participate. All the students love this game because there is no elitism. Everyone on the team is capable to play this game.

Tchoukball allows students to work together to reach a common goal.

The rules are simple and easy to understand. There are no interceptions, rough play, or contest of the opposing team. Teammates are able to move and throw the ball without pressure. All the other team has to do is catch the ball once hit off the rebounder.

I love this game because a student does not have to have a high athletic ability to participate.
