My Project

Hello, I am Betty Serrano and I teach second grade. I would like support in acquiring a class set of biographies focusing on multiple ethnicities, skills, abilities and upbringings. It is very important for students to see people similar to them accomplishing amazing things because it reminds them they can do it too. With these texts I plan to have my students create presentations for younger grades celebrating the many incredible people who have been able to bring positive change to the world. Please help me bring diverse representation into the classroom.
