My Project

I am so grateful to teach youthful and free-spirited minds at a Title I school in rural North Carolina. My students are enthusiastic, kind, and joyful learners. They come into the classroom every day eager to learn new things.

Classroom aquariums are an invaluable teaching tool.

I am seeking funding to obtain a water test kit, plant fertilizer, aquarium cleaning supplies, an automatic food dispenser, and fish food for our classroom aquarium.

If funded, these items will help maintain the aquarium in our classroom. The plant fertilizer will help us with the upkeep of the live plants. The gravel vacuum, filter media, and water conditioner will be used to keep the tank clean. Over weekends and long breaks, the automatic food dispenser will drop food into the tank to feed fish.
