My Project
My students have tried their best this year as we returned to some type of normalcy. Unfortunately, a lot of them struggle with social behaviors because their first grade year was modified to screen learning and no first-hand interactions. On top of that, it is hard for them to sit and learn in a typical seating arrangement. We have worked hard to help bridge that gap emotionally and physically but in that time, these students have developed habits that can be helped with flexible seating and social- emotional items. These kids deserve a chance to be given those building blocks to prepare them for older grades. They deserve to have access to the best method of learning even as this pandemic progresses.
