My students need books on being compassionate and friendly. We are also requesting kits where we can care for ants and observe and learn from them. Building compassion and learning about team work in all animals.

My Students

My students are active, creative, and inspirational. They have a love of learning that inspires the teachers and administration around them. They work with what they have and make things happen no matter the circumstances. We work day to day with willing learners who enjoy meeting their academic goals. Our students need a way to engage with each other, and learn about compassion for others and for all living things. This project will help our school learn and grow into compassionate, loving learners.

My Project

We are requesting ant kits, and copies of English and Spanish books about bullying, friendship, and teamwork. These books are all about ants and through this project they can learn about insects as well as build compassion and love for all living things.

Students can see the similarities in ants and themselves and how working as a team is not just a human trait.

Learning about other animals and how we can be compassionate to all living things is key to a happy healthy classroom.

We are hoping to build off prior knowledge of insects and build deeper understanding of animals, insects, and ourselves!
