Headphones are an essential part of our digital citizens today. Children start listening on headphones from a very early age and once they start school they use them every day. Students may start the day on headphones and many times end their day on headphones.
There are a plethora of learning games, instructional sites, and resources to supplement our student's educational journey, and having a good, sturdy, dependable pair of headphones is a must.
Unfortunately, I was displaced from the school I've taught for the past 3 years. I had just received new headphones last November through Donor's Choose, but because I won't be at this school for the upcoming 24-25 school year, I'll have to leave them there per Donor's Choose policy, which I don't have a problem with. That's why I am asking for new headphones. The good thing is however, that the headphones I'm leaving at this school will be of great use to the incoming kindergartners, and we know it's all about the kids.
I think one of the best ages to teach is incoming kindergarten students. They are eager, full of wonder, and forgiving. Because of the population of children at this school and the one I am going to, many of them are not able to get something as simple as a pair of headphones, that is why your generosity is so appreciated by me and these precious students.
