This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Clickers just don't last very long. My last one died the first week of school, and now I'm stuck behind my desk whenever I want to advance to the next slide. When teachers are stuck behind their desks, students misbehave. I like to be front and center every day, checking in with students and making sure I'm in their line of sight.
Because I have to go to my desk to advance through my slides, my students think they can get away with side conversations and other shenanigans.
It's not a good start to the year when I can't manage my students' behavior because I'm too far away. If I had a new clicker, I could stand anywhere in class and still click through the slides, keeping my class on track during our lessons.
