This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In our inaugural year of implementing a STEM curriculum, our school is witnessing a remarkable surge of enthusiasm among students, particularly in their fascination with technology. Eager to harness this passion, we aim to introduce stop-motion moviemaking into our classroom repertoire, thereby expanding our students' technological horizons. The acquisition of locker shelves is pivotal in this endeavor.

These locker shelves will serve as indispensable tools, providing a stable platform for our students' iPads as they embark on their stop-motion filmmaking journeys.

With this equipment, students will be able to unleash their creativity, exploring the intersection of technology and storytelling in an engaging and dynamic manner. By facilitating hands-on experience in stop-motion animation, we anticipate a significant enhancement in student engagement and interest in STEM subjects.

Stop-motion filmmaking represents just one facet of our broader commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in the classroom. As we navigate the digital landscape of the 21st century, it is imperative that our students are equipped with a diverse array of tools and skills. Through projects like this, we strive to provide our students with the resources they need to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
