Animal Projects for Hospital Schools

My Project

My students have been admitted to a pediatric hospital for a variety of illnesses, disorders, and treatment needs. They range in age from three to thirteen and come from a diverse range of schools, backgrounds, and even countries. Although my students are inpatient due to sickness or injury, they are always excited for school, especially when learning about animals!

This study unit allows for students to practice a multitude of learning skills while researching an animal of their choice!

The requested materials will supplement research of animals from tigers to dinosaurs and will provide engaging activities for students while they learn. These supplies will make it possible for students to complete fossil digs, puzzles and dioramas all from within their hospital rooms.
