Animal Adventures for Young Readers!

Help me give my students books about animals and dogs that they can read with guidance and then independently. My children enjoy reading stories about dogs.

My Students

I work with students that have the desire to learn to read and write, but they need a more individualized or small group setting to help them attain this desire. When they first come to my room, they are excited but feel they aren't able to read. They are very hesitant to attempt to read or write.

As we work together they become more confident and will even say "I can read that book all by myself" when I suggest I will share read a newer, more challenging book with them.

My Project

Since the pandemic, I have not been able to sit beside my students to guide them with their reading. I need two books of each title so that I can have one at a distance from them and still see what they are reading and be able to prompt and guide them.

The characters that are introduced and they get familiar with will give them the motivation and excitement to tackle reading a new more challenging book.

These children love to read about animal adventures and then they share and write about their own adventures with animals.
