Help me give my students the tools they need to learn how to name their feelings, control their temper and learn mindfulness skills to manage their feelings.

My Project

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will teach them how to identify their emotions and how to explain to their teacher and/or school counselor their needs. I will read the books to my students to make sure they understand the content.

The emotional ball and mindfulness chime will help my students with becoming calm, breathing slowly and avoiding outbursts and fights.

The majority of my students live in or near violent neighborhoods. My students need helping learning how to function around violence. Some of my students have PTSD from events they have seen.
