My Students
My students are children with exceptional learning needs. Although, they have their differences they have provided an overwhelming sense of joy, laughter, fun, and inspiration. They are children that love to learn. As a second year special educator, I've seen a great need of resources for our special education students. My school is a Title I school. The families in the community are low- income families. Most, of our families have to choose between the basic essentials in life like buy grocery, paying rent or buying journal and pencil for math class. Often times, Special Education is often the last department that the educational systems tailor the needs of. However, we teacher are imaginative, creative, resilient as dedicated to our students.

My Project
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. These materials can be used at home and at school. Imagine, sitting in front of a computer for 4 hours and listening to a person teach and all you can do is listen. Now imagine that for 10 students with exceptional needs. Special education is a hands-on sport!!! Without interactive lessons, our students will fall further behind because they can not focus. Breathe!! We got this!!! The gift card will provide the teacher with interactive activities, lessons, resources, and manipulatives.
