My Project
This year 5th graders will be researching their own heritage, then an ancient mythology that interests them.
I have selected texts which match the heritages represented in my classroom.
This way students will feel personally connected to the their research projects.
And of course, 5th graders are always STARVING! We live in a low income area, so families can't always donate snacks. But sometimes a snack makes the difference between a successful learning day and an unsuccessful one.
