Anchoring Our Understanding

Help me give my students the materials to complete hands on math projects. I am requesting Anchor Chart paper so that I can write about key ideas and formulas to keep around the room and in their minds.

My Students

I teach 6th grade math at a Title I school in North Carolina. My goal is for my students to have every opportunity for success possible. My student's have a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. They all work at different levels. Through the technology we use in class, they are each able to work on their own pace.

They are hard workers, willing to learn, and I would like the ability to give them everything they need to grow.

My students and I would like to thank you in advance for your donations.

My Project

I have requested the materials my students need to complete hands on learning activities in their math class. This will reach the students who learn through tactile experiences. Many of my students do not have scissors of their own and we have to share, taking up class time.

Anchor charts are a constant reminder of important information.

So, I have asked for the materials to create these so that my students can be constantly exposed to new and old material.
