My Project

My classroom is made up of a group of very diverse learners. However, one thing remains clear, is that they can all benefit from having anchor charts and graphic organizers in the classroom. These charts ensure equity in the classroom by reaching each student at their level. For this reason and many others, I create anchor charts with my students daily in all content areas. Storing these charts are challenging because they take up a lot of wall space.

The chart holders and hangers will be used to store the anchor charts and graphic organizers created.

They will help to reduce the amount of wall space needed for these charts.

Based on my observations and research, students are confident when doing their independent activities when they have charts that were created for the lesson to reference.

Having an area where students use charts to aid with their learning is vital. My goal is to make learning and school fun for my students, with the right amount of productive struggle and rigor. Having these materials is a stepping stone towards this goal.
