My students need anchor chart paper, markers, construction paper, and glue for attractive anchor charts and their student work!

I am a fourth grade teacher and my focus is on teaching math and science to children in Southwest Virginia. This will be my third year teaching at a Title I school with majority of my students living in varying amounts of poverty, one hundred percent of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Due to this, our students lack the resources to adequately supply things for themselves. Regardless of where our students may come from or what their backgrounds are, our students are full of diversity, imagination, and lots of energy!
I teach my students to not only come to school to better themselves academically, but to become their best self in all aspect of their lives.
Although I have not yet met my new class, I cannot wait to start our adventure this year together! My goal for this project is to provide my students with everything they need to be successful booth inside and outside of the classroom. In my classroom I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating to ensure that each students needs are met, whatever that may be. My students deserve nothing but the best and more!
Chart paper is one of the most frequently used supplies in my classroom because it has a multitude of uses! I use chart paper to make anchor charts that are displayed in the classroom for students to use as a reference after a lesson is taught. In my classroom, many of the students I teach are visual learners, which is why attractive anchor charts are important.
Visual aids on the chart paper allows my students to make connections with what they are learning and take ownership of what they are learning.
Another way we use anchor chart paper in our room is for group projects. The students create their own posters as a way to teach the class a new or previously taught concepts. My students would benefit in a plethora of ways from having this paper, glue, construction paper, and some markers as resources in the classroom! Please consider helping me, help my students!
