My students need the opportunity to create anchor charts in a way that resonates with them. They need to create them in their writing and science journals.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students need help with their reading so that their writing will improve drastically.
We create anchor charts in our writing and science journal, so we need an anchor chart holder for all students to see the information.
My Project
My beloved students will have the chance to create anchor charts in their writing and science journals, and have the opportunity to see them displayed around the classroom. Unfortunately, I do not have an anchor chart that is conducive to learning. It doesn't move, and it is too low for me to actually use it.
My students love to create!
My students love to learn! Having solid illustrations will help them make those connections and grow even more. I'm all about connections and learning. My beloveds deserve opportunities that help them see beyond their circumstances and grow like I did.
I was in the same school district as my students, and I want them to know that anything is possible. Great things happened!
