Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In my classroom there are 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students throughout the school day. I teach math and science but also have a study skills class where students build skills in English, science, and history.
The best thing about my classroom is who I share it with!
I enjoy that my students work as a team and have opportunities to show me how they collaborate effectively. Team work makes the dream work is a motto used in my class!
My Project
The movable easel, adhesive note pads, and markers will make a huge impact in my classroom. Not only will they help visual learners grasp concepts, but they will also help me track and build upon daily lessons.
Anchor Charts will be posted and displayed in the classroom to assist all students and learning styles in academic progress and reflection.
Whiteboard space is so limited and students need to see graphic aids at all times as a reference for understanding new concepts, which is another reason this project is so important to me. Students will be able to participate in creating and using the supplies as well and students LOVE being part of the process with fun supplies!
