Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a K-2 SPED classroom, we are lacking in many materials. Our students want to learn to read and write. Because we have no chart paper right now, it makes keeping their sight words up on a visible wall quite difficult.

Using manuscript chart paper to write out their sight words will help them with their writing and reading skills.

The pocket chart is for their handheld sight words that we will be working with. We are using the SIPPS program to get these students back to their grade level but they need to be constantly exposed to their words. With dry erase markers we can also work on our writing as we have donated dry erase boards but not enough markers to use them beneficially!

Please help our classroom reach our goal to develop our reading and writing skills.
