Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My goal for this project is to be able to create a class where the students study the anatomy and physiology of the human body with a lab practicum included where the students have to identify the different anatomical parts of the different body systems. For example, if we learned about the skeletal system, the students will have to identify the scapular, femur, humerus, patella, etc. in the lab. More hands-on opportunities for students to learn increase their learning, engagement, and makes the class "fun." This class will truly help my students who want to attend college to become registered nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, or other health field careers.
