My Project
This last year I was able to finish my second masters degree after 24 years in the classroom in order to offer my students the opportunity to receive college credit for taking my anatomy class. To my surprise, 80 students signed up to take the class. That is almost HALF of the graduating class! While we have a good start for some models in my classroom, I am in need of more to make this a college class for my students. They need to be able to see and touch the models to make the learning come to life. I know this is a HUGE cart of items but I felt I needed to ask for as many things as I could and just chip away at what could be given. Students will instead of receiving just high school credit, receive 4 college credits each semester for a total of 8 semester credits and I could not be happier to give my students the opportunity to explore the health sciences and get a jump start on their college coursework while saving money.
