My Project
This project offers my students an invaluable opportunity to delve into the intricacies of mammalian anatomy through hands-on rat dissection. What I love most about my students is their boundless curiosity and eagerness to explore the living world.
By actively engaging with anatomical structures, they'll build a deeper, more lasting comprehension that will serve as a strong foundation for future studies in biology, medicine, veterinary science, and other healthcare-related careers.
This immersive experience fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a profound appreciation for the complexity of life.
This project directly fuels that passion by providing a tangible, three-dimensional learning experience that static diagrams simply cannot replicate. Each preserved rat serves as a gateway to understanding organ systems, their structures, and their interconnected functions. Scalpels and dissecting tools become instruments of discovery, allowing students to develop crucial fine motor skills and meticulous observation techniques essential in many scientific and medical fields.
