My Project

Math can be challenging but it doesn't need to be. If students are enjoying the work that they are doing and have some outstanding incentives to look forward to they will persevere.

This project was developed by our students to reflect the most valuable incentives for persevering in problem solving.

For the students that currently have them, the stress balls have helped to reduce anxiety when solving problems. If more of our students had that resource, they too would have reduced anxiety when solving problems.

In addition to the stress balls, there is a Newton's Cradle in our classroom that the students are fascinated by. As a part of this project, all of our students will have the opportunity to discover the wonder of the Newton's Cradle for themselves.
