My Students

My fourth grade students come from a rural area. Many of them will never have the opportunity to head to the Chicago suburbs let alone see the Medievial Times show. Our school has very few assemblies throughout the year and this trip would create a memory that would last a lifetime.

My goal throughout the school year is to attach the curriculum to real-world applications through a variety of methods.

I am hoping to directly correlate the social studies curriculum to this real-life experience at Medievial Times.

My Project

Students will experience life during the Medieval Times. They will experience an educational presentation, four-course meal and an epic 90 minute show. To give students this opportunity will mean the world to them as most would never have this opportunity.

Whether it be the authentic coat of arms or the jousting that the students experience, they will never forget this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Students will be engaged throughout the day during this amazing opportunity.

Students will be amazed at this real-life experience concentrating on life during the Medieval Times. It will be wonderful for the fourth grade students to come back and share this experience with the younger grades.
