Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an elementary school librarian. I requested the pencil sharpener first because mine recently broke. My students are constantly asking to sharpen their pencils and at the moment, we do not have a way to do that. I requested storage bins to store book holds so I can keep the library more organized for my students. Lastly, I requested paper because I only have access to one ream a month.
My students are special because they love visiting the library.
I want to make the library a safe and fun place for them. I also want to make sure they have everything they need to make sure their learning is a success. The use of paper worksheets, and sharpened pencils is a daily occurrence in the library.
