it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will help us keep the classroom clean and organized. In my classroom we use Lego bricks to create structures to solve problems. This year is the first year that we will be competing against other schools using robots. I want to make it easy for my students to find the piece that they need for their creations. We've been building Lego robots for almost 10 years, and some of my former students, now in high school, have gone to competitions all over the state and even the country.
I want to think that this skill started or at least was promoted in my classroom.
My hope is that by having everything more organized we can spend more time problem solving and building than looking for a part in a sea of bricks. I have tried to connect all the similar bricks into clumps, but all the clumps are inside of a bucket.
I am also requesting a step stool to help access materials that are out of reach.
