Help me give my students a document camera so they have the ease of showing their mathematical work. With COVID-19 and keeping social distances, it will be a challenge to view students' work daily and help them find errors.
Creating the next generation of thinkers, my students come from all different cultures and challenges facing them every day. They are from an eastern city in Massachusetts that has a high poverty level. It’s wonderful to see their smiling faces ready and eager to learn.
My Project
Being able to share the students' work in a math classroom is vital. With COVID-19 and social distancing, I will not be able to lean over the desk and view a student's work. Using a document camera will allow me to help the students determine their errors. Not only will that student be able to learn from his mistakes but others in the class will as well. During the class, notes can be given under the document camera and recorded to be posted online for any missing students or for students to review at a later time.
