My Project
I want to brighten my room up for my students. Most of my kids are low income and coming to school is an exciting experience. They come to school happy and want to learn. I want to use these materials to give them a better learning experience. I want them to be visually stimulated each day. I want them to be eager to learn. I believe the items I've requested will help me reach that goal.
My classroom will become an ocean.
The kids will come into a bright and fun classroom where they'll be excited to learn. There will be an octopus hanging from the ceiling and fish swimming on the walls. I will have a reading reef and a spelling splash corner. Students will also get to learn about the ocean and what all lives in it. I will use the manipulatives purchased to use for reading intervention. Currently I have our reading series to teach with but no hands on manipulatives.
My students are extraordinary. They want to learn. They work so hard and love to be at school. I've taught for 20 years and never had a group who wants to be loved and needed like this group. I believe they deserve the best. I love my students and want them to have a fun a exciting classroom to go with it. Please help me redo my classroom to match their excitement.
