I believe a positive learning environment is crucial for my students. My classroom is very much government-funded. My kiddos are in my class from 6-7 hours each day. I feel that this project will make my classroom a warm and cozy environment where they can be comfortable. I have students who come to school dirty, hungry, and unloved. Teachers Pay Teachers has great resources when it comes to printable manipulatives. I can laminate these and send them home with students. I can also print sayings and posters that will help provide a positive environment. I want my classroom to be a place they can come in and instantly know they are "home." I want them to know they are loved and welcomed. I think the things I've requested will make them feel at home. These items will help make the classroom more inviting and comfortable. Some kiddos have a bad home life. No running water or even a warm bed to sleep in. I want to give them a place where they feel at home. In turn they will be open to learn. My motto has been and always will be "They will always know they are loved." Please help me make my students' learning experience better than ever! Thank you!
