Our students are dedicated to each other and driven to better themselves musically and personally. They have an incredible understanding of the "bigger picture" and do a wonderful job of taking care of the equipment that we use every day, especially when the best opportunities are given to them to do so. These students are part of a well-respected band program that has a great amount of community support.
We are in a transitional period in our program, and we are looking to use that as an opportunity for growth.
My Project
Our jazz band trombone players need bucket mutes to play our jazz and blues tunes. These will be used by our trombone and bass trombone players in our auditioned jazz band. These particular bucket mutes are easy to use and very durable, perfect in allowing for an authentic sound from our trombone players for years to come.
A full mute selection will allow us to program a wider variety of music and give our students a more broader education in the jazz idiom.
These mutes are also occasionally used in concert or symphonic band literature, especially with all of the modern-style music that is being written today.
