This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students I teach have special needs and are on individualized Educational Plan. Resources such as shaving foam, sand box will help my Kinesthetic or tactile learners to learn how to spell sight words from memory. Bean bags will be utilized by my students who need alternate siting to help them focus. All sensory items will be utilized by my students with ADHD and help them focus during reading, writing and math..
Covid-19 has impacted their families both emotionally and financially as lots of them have lost family members.
These resources will put smiles on their faces and help them learn in a fun loving conducive environment.
