Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use the iPad as a teaching tool as well as a manipulative to be shared by students within the classroom. With the iPad I can connect to our classroom display and use it to project what I am writing on the iPad.
The iPad allows students that are nervous about getting in front of the class to do work from their desk that can still be seen by all students within the class.
I have found in the past that some students are much more willing to do work to share with their classmates when it can be done from their seat. The iPad will help allow those students to feel more comfortable sharing and help themselves and their classmates grow.
