My Project
In our vibrant Bronx Pre-K classroom, every child brings limitless potential—and every family brings unstoppable hope. Our students are young English language learners and children with special needs, navigating challenges that require not just support, but innovation, advocacy, and love. As a Title 1, low-income community, we work every day to bridge gaps, build skills, and empower families to become champions for their children’s futures.
Help us put powerful tools into the hands of those who need them most- we are requesting an iPad Mini to transform learning, communication, and family engagement both inside and beyond our classroom walls; with this device, our students will gain access to interactive apps that build communication skills, strengthen motor development, and ignite a love of learning through pre-academic activities tailored to their unique needs.
The iPad will also support students who rely on AAC devices, giving them the tools they need to express their voices with confidence.
But this project is bigger than just technology—it’s about empowerment. The iPad Mini will allow us to create accessible, engaging materials for family advocacy seminars, workshops, and community events. It will help us connect families to vital resources, offer multilingual wellness guides, and build stronger bridges between school and home. Every tap, every app, every resource created will be an act of advocacy, empowerment, and inclusion for our incredible students and their families.
