My Project
This year, I started a Girls Who Code club for our 3rd and 4th grade girls! The participation has been great for our girls! These girls have formed friendships using The Friendship Code book, learned about the inputs/outputs, used simple code using Scratch and so much more!
Our Girls Who Code club is in desperate need of an iPad to code our various robots, like Dash, Dot and the Sphero robots!
With close to 10 girls in our Girls Who Code Club, there are not enough iPads to go around with the allotted time we have. Although, my girls are really good at sharing, all of our robots require iPad and with only 2 iPad in our classroom, we would really love and appreciate an extra iPad or two. This will allow each girl to practice coding the different robots while sharing one iPad.
Our Girls Who Code Club is a coding club for girls that allows them to practice coding and computer skills while forming friendships with other like minded girls. Thank you for your help and support!
