This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our students travel from all 5 boroughs (and some from outside the boroughs) to get to school. Some students are unable to use their phones throughout the day for various reasons. We would like to provide them with an alternative way of submitting assignments to our school wide grading system so they are able to equitably participate in the daily functions of classroom life.
An iPad is a device nearly every student is able to use with ease and it has enough features to limit use to just what the teachers want to use it for and will be kept in the front of the classroom for easy access.
This allows us the ability to limit use strictly for uploading documents to our grading system with the camera.
