Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The new iPad makes learning come to life and lots of fun.
I teach 25 enthusiastic third graders in a low economic area.
My students are highly motivated to learn even when they don't have the necessary learning materials. Whenever they are able to use any form of technology, their enthusiasm to learn increases.
My Project
A new iPad (3rd generation) and its many learning applications will help my students practice their reading and math skills. My students will also be able to conduct research via the Internet, read electronic books, watch educational videos, and learn to type. Since I am requesting only one iPad at a time, my plans are to develop a rotational schedule where each student will have access to the iPad at least once a day.
With your help, my students will have a valuable resource that will make a lasting impact in their education.
They will enjoy practicing their reading and math skills through the use of an iPad. Thank you so much for your generous donation and for caring about our lives.
