My Project
In lieu of Covid-19, my students lost the opportunity to grow and be successful within a classroom both socially and academically. These are the years in which students learn and implement organizational skills that help them later in life and as a current young mind. The physical classroom provides structure that the virtual learning was not able to provide in the same way. Their ability to keep track of time and materials does not come as easy. Students can use the timers during centers to move through the various tasks expected of them at a diligent pace. The storage containers will help the students have a space for their textbooks and notebooks so that they have more space in their desk. The magnetic containers will hold daily materials in an easy-to-reach space for students to access at their disposal. The crayons, pencils, and dry erase markers provide students with necessities that many of my students are not able to provide with the low-income community my school serves. My hope is for these materials to provide students with an invitation to organization!
