Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Many of our students are visual learners and being able to see their curriculum in true colors will be most beneficial. As we continue our school year, it is helpful for my students to have the resources to learn at home. The toner cartridges will allow us to print assignments in color to help keep them engaged. The colorful materials will provide our students with a better understanding of what they are learning across all academic areas. This will be especially advantageous for English Language Learners.
It would be wonderful to be able to provide students with colorful worksheets and resources so they are able to retain and recall information as they learn about money!
Although our curriculum is online, many of my students' parents are concerned about their child's screen time. The ink cartridges and toner will allow us to create colorful flashcards and worksheets for students to continue learning at home. Also, many of our parents do not have the resources or reference materials to practice with their child at home. With the color toner and cartridges, we will be able to give the students and their family the extra assistance necessary for them to be successful this school year.
